Puttin on the Ritz – American Bandstand

The City Commission will be presented with the following Special Event Permit Request at the 7 PM
Commission Meeting on April 12, 2021. If you have any comments that you would like the City Commission
to review along with this request, please email them to Jennifer.Brooks@sanfordfl.gov.

‘Puttin on the Ritz’ is the annual fundraiser for the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center on Magnolia
Avenue. The 2022 event theme will be “Puttin on the Ritz – American Bandstand” and will be held directly in front of their venue, between the Theater at 203 S. Magnolia Avenue and their Annex at 201 S. Magnolia
Avenue from 6 – 11 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022. This ticketed event will feature entertainment, live
music and catered food.

The applicant requests closure of S. Magnolia Avenue, from 2nd Street to 3rd Street from 10 AM- MIDNIGHT.
Affected businesses will still have access to alleyways behind and beside their businesses
